How the baby video is made

It happens in two stages. First you generate a baby from a photo of each parent — the AI blends both faces into one and returns a boy and a girl version. Then you pick one of those faces and the Future Baby Video feature animates it into a short clip.

The animation uses ready-made motions built into the app, such as the baby walking or breaking into a smile. You choose the motion from a list; there is no prompt to write and no video editing involved. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes from two still photos to a saved clip.

Because the video always starts from a face the app generated, this is a baby video maker rather than a general text-to-video tool. It animates the baby it made for you — it will not build an arbitrary scene from a written description.

What the app actually animates

FaceCast animates a baby face it generated from your parent photos. The motions are the ones built into the Future Baby Video feature — a few seconds of the baby walking, smiling or moving naturally — and you select one rather than describing it.

It is worth being clear about the limits, because a lot of AI video tools promise more than they do. FaceCast will not generate a video from a written scene description, and it does not turn any photo you upload into a full performance.
