How to make your baby picture

Everything is done in the app. The pictures here are only samples, so open FaceCast to make your own.

1

Download the app

FaceCast is on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or newer, and on Google Play for Android.

2

Pick the mother's and father's photos

A clear photo of each face, looking at the camera, with good light. A hijab is fine as long as the face is fully visible.

3

Look at your son and daughter

FaceCast makes both from the same two photos. Keep them on your phone or share them with family on Messenger.

Combining the mother's and father's faces: what the picture means

When people in Bangladesh search for a baby face from the mother and father photo, they are usually asking a simple thing: show us a child who looks like both of us. That is what an AI baby generator does. FaceCast reads the two faces and creates a new one that takes a little from each, the eyes from one side perhaps, the shape of the lips from the other, a skin tone in between. You see the result twice: once a son, once a daughter.

The picture is imagination, not a test result. It is not made from your 3D ultrasonogram, your blood group or anything a doctor would measure, and it says nothing about the health of the baby. In real families, brothers and sisters with the same parents often look very different, and a newborn's hair, eye colour and even face shape keep changing in the first years. A generated face is one possibility out of countless others. Nobody, not the app and not the most experienced aunt in the family, can say for certain which one your child will turn out to be.

In many Bangladeshi families the mother-to-be spends the last months of pregnancy at her parents' home, surrounded by her own mother, aunts and cousins. That is often when the guessing is loudest. One aunt hopes for the mother's dimples, another expects the curly hair that runs in the father's family, and everyone has a cousin the child is sure to resemble. A picture from the app is a cheerful thing to pass around in those weeks, and the real baby will still surprise everyone.

Families share these images carefully. Some keep them private until after the birth, and some save them for the sadh, the meal many Bengali families arrange for the mother in the seventh month. Others wait for the aqiqah, when Muslim families often announce the baby's name, and put the generated face next to the first real photo. If you post it on Facebook, add a short note that it is an AI picture so relatives far away do not take it for a real baby.

Everything FaceCast can make

Six features, from the future baby picture to a cleaner, sharper photo of the whole family.

Future baby from mother and father

Combine the mother's face and the father's face into a baby, and see both a son and a daughter version.

3D ultrasonogram to baby photo

Turn a 3D or 4D ultrasound picture into a lifelike baby portrait. The app imagines the details, so keep it as a memento rather than a clinical picture.

Maternity photoshoot

Beautiful pregnancy portraits with a studio look, made from a single photo of the mother.

Styles and filters

Change a photo with one tap: the 80s style with old-fashioned hair, clothes and background, plus cartoon and anime looks. The 80s style keeps your face.

Family picture with the baby

Place your future baby between Ma and Baba in one portrait, the kind that could go in a frame at home.

Photo enhancer

Improve dark, blurry or faded photos so faces look clear and colours look true.

Common questions from Bangladesh

Can I see my baby's face from the mother and father photo?+

You can see one imagined version of it. FaceCast combines both faces into a baby and shows a son and a daughter. Your real baby may look different, because no app can know which features a child will inherit.

How does the face combination work?+

The AI looks at the features in both photos, such as the eyes, nose, lips, face shape, skin and hair, and generates a new baby face that mixes them. Trying again with the same photos can give a slightly different face.

How correct is the result?+

There is no way to check it before the baby is born, so we do not claim any accuracy. It does not use DNA or medical tests. It is a fun picture to imagine your child with.

What photos should we choose?+

Recent, sharp photos with the full face showing and looking at the camera. Daylight is best. Avoid sunglasses, heavy makeup filters and photos with other people. A hijab or scarf is fine if the face is not covered.

Does the app say if it is a boy or a girl?+

No. It shows a son and a daughter from the same photos and does not predict the baby's sex.

Can I turn my 3D ultrasound into a baby picture?+

Yes. Add an image from your 3D or 4D ultrasonogram in the app and it makes a realistic baby portrait based on it. It is an artistic version and does not replace your doctor's report.

Is FaceCast free or paid?+

The download is free. Some parts of the app need an in-app purchase or subscription. New users can start with a free trial, and you see the price inside the app before you confirm anything.

What happens to our photos?+

They are processed only to create your result, and this can involve our AI service providers. Your photos are not sold and are not used for advertising. Our privacy policy explains it fully.

Is there a website version or a Bangla version?+

There is no website version; FaceCast is an app for iPhone and iPad (iOS 16 or later) and Android. This site shows samples only. The app is in English and also Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian, but not yet in Bangla.
